After much time spent discussing this on the email list, and many checks with people who might want to attend, we've now nailed a date and venue. We will be holding the gathering from the evening of Friday 5th October to the lunchtime of Sunday 7th, at the Ramparts Centre in Whitechapel London. During the Saturday we will discuss the future of I58, so if you're too busy to lose a whole weekend, just come for the day (we won't get going till 11am at the earliest, don't worry).

Directions for getting to Ramparts will appear shortly, but its basically a tube ride to Aldgate or Aldgate East, or a bus ride (probably the 205) from most of the obvious places, like train and coach stations. You'll need to bring a sleeping bag. We'll need a contribution for food, and it would be nice to give something to Ramparts at the end of the day.

On the Sunday, London Catholic Worker, Voices in the Wilderness and Christian Peacemaker Teams UK are holding a vigil for those killed in the Afghan conflict on the 6th Anniversary of the outbreak of US bombing there. Some of those at the gathering hope to take part, and it will hopefully make a great end to the weekend.
