Aldermaston is Britain's Nuclear Weapons lab, charged with making a new nuke, despite Britain's supposed commitment to non-proliferation. Christian Peacemaker Teams and London Catholic Worker are inviting Christians to join their group within the blockade.

On Saturday 25th, CPT and LCW are having an evening of prayer and fellowship for Christians who will be involved, and on Sunday 26th, there's Non-Violent Direct Action training. Both take place in the nearby city of Reading. Then its an early start on Monday to put the blockade in place before workers arrive. Hundreds are expected, and with the training, its an ideal first-action for newcomers to civil disobedience. There's plenty of tasks for "non-arrestables" to do on the Monday as well, in return for which, you can still do the training.
